Quality audit was strictly done by Bureau Veritas on 28th July

To verify our quality system of shower enclosure production is complying with the policy of LEROY MERLIN product quality, Quality audit was strictly conducted by Bureau Veritas who is a world-renowned 3rd part inspection institution nominated by ADEO groupe on 28th Jul.

The audit date was announced in advance before 2 month. We have been operating our production process of shower enclosure and bathroom cabinet with splendid quality management. But our quality teams still pay much more attention about it. As like a exam, we are expecting to get a high score from quality audit.

 

The condition of audit we should be fulfilled:

1)  Major manufacturing processes are in full operation.

2)  Majority of the workforce is operating in the production floor.

3)  Auditors are permitted to access all factory areas.

4)  Provide all necessary documentations for audit review.

5)  Photos are allowed to be taken and important documents are allowed to be copied, where relevant.

6)  Provide PPEs if the auditor needs to proceed audit in certain production areas, which can lead to the health/safety issue.

7)  No power interruptions that can affect the audit process.

8)  Nominate at least 1 dedicated technical staff to support execution of assessment on assessment date. He / She must be well aware of entire factory procedures, production activities, storage activities QC activities, lab activities and documentation.

9)  Client specific requirement during audit such as quality controls in production

Key activities and check-up conducted by BV staff during the audit is the following:

  • Opening meeting

  • Workers and staff interviews
  • Checking of documents and records
  • Pre-closing meeting
  • Closing meeting
